this is why I refuse to engage with Disney Dreamlight Valley, and why I encourage other creators within the same gaming genre to drop it as well. I know it's a big ask when it's something that can bring so much joy, but please just consider it.

This statement is damage control and deflecting: we know the sims will not change and they will not retroactively change anything. We just don't want to give money to EA's new owners, and creators, understandably, don't want to promote their games to make them richer. It's two different things.
