I’ve seen people claiming Paralives is going to be barebones because the game is “only 8 GB”. For reference:the greatest life sim ever made (TS2) had a size of just 3.5 GB, and that was the complete base game. So 8 GB for an Early Access build of a v stylized game actually sounds promising to me

Random observation: I’ve noticed a pattern in the community that simmers who tend to prefer TS2 are naturally more drawn to Paralives; while those that favour ts3 seem to prefer InZoi. Does this apply to you too?

I also feel like every decision I take is the wrong one but at least I have a very clear set of priorities when deciding who should survive in an apocalyptic world (Clementine first, then any other kid even if they are annoying, then women, then friends and then anyone else).
In case anyone is wondering what I’m doing to keep myself busy before paralives early access…I’m Protecting this little girl with MY LIFE 🥹 (no spoilers please, I’ve never played this game before!!)

Wait “some packs”?! Hahahaha so they’re thinking about relaunching the same game BUT make it so that it isn’t compatible with existing packs?! Someone call Hannah Montana because this it’s literally the worst of both worlds
Soooo.... a little birdie on Reddit said today that they were part of a playtest/in house survey about a ' relaunched' Sims 4 game. So no Sim5, but possibly a remastered Sims4 where you can port over your saves and some packs might be partly compatible. Interesting because ..

I still remember my first early access game. It was 2014 and its name was The Sims 4. they barely released any info prior to launch (no toddlers + no pools were confirmed 2 months before release) . Back they called Early Access a “live service” game and we still paid full price.oh how things change!

perhaps an unpopular opinion but I don’t want Paralives to be like the sims or to be a sims killer. If I wanted a sims replacement, I’d just play a sims game but the whole point is that after 25 years I’m a bit tired of the sims formula and want something that feels NEW. (continues below)
