I like how this is still in the future tense, despite the conversation not taking place in the metaverse.
ZUCKERBERG: “If we end up misspending a couple of hundred billion dollars, I think that that is going to be very unfortunate, obviously. .. But what I’d say is I actually think the risk is higher on the other side.”

The mood is grim in this Ohio bar as locals consider the double whammy of tariff-driven inflation and sinking retirement funds. But they know it's a price worth paying because things will be even worse for Blacks and Hispanics.

I still don't understand how you could live through round one of this and come away with the impression that the two candidates were equally bad

The American right’s admiration for Putin’s Russia is based on an idea of a country that does not exist.

putin is a war criminal. i have no problem with the us president (or macron or scholz) talking with him. but under no
circumstances should his crimes be normalized or white washed.

what’s happening right now is a stain on the united states and its role in the world.

The best thing Biden can do now is the thing he would never do: permit strikes on Russia.

Let Ukraine hit that soil and direct US strikes on occupied Ukraine. Put Trump in a bind, either he capitulates in a US-RU confrontation looking like a loser, or sees it through to victory.

2.5 months remain.

Who's at fault here?
-Biden for clinging on for too long
-Pro-Palestine voters going 3rd party (or not voting) not understanding that you cannot be critical of Israel and still win statewide/national
-Western/NATO-Europe for failing to take its own security seriously giving fuel to the isolationists
