The Trump administration, along with Elon Musk’s staffers, has jeopardized the security of the C.I.A. by making employee names public—a move both illegal and dangerous. Current officials confirmed that the C.I.A. sent employee names to the OPM, complying with an executive order signed by Trump.

1. We cannot now rule out the possibility of systemic collapse in the United States. If Trump and Musk paralyse the federal government, this could trigger social, financial and industrial failures. Neither Trump nor his team know how to respond to such failures, which could snowball and converge. 🧵

Billionaires do not believe there should be a common good. If they could privatize the air we breathe and sell it to us at a profit, they would. To profit off a good, they have to be able to exclude you from it, so you then have to pay for access. It’s about exclusion.

Trump should stop him.

It's literally impossible to run the National Weather Service without talking to foreign partners.

For example, the National Hurricane Center in Miami shares data with other nations in the Caribbean constantly to forecast storms. Everyone benefits.

The next target will be scapegoating our public schools, educators, and students. DEI will be the blanket justification for defunding. They’ve been telling the base that educators are “grooming” and “indoctrinating” and “teaching your kids to hate America” since his first term.

Trump's promise to dismantle the Education Department will likely be more costly for red states than blue.

Trump states, on average, use more federal funding in their education apportions than states that voted for Vice President Harris. www.axios.com/2025/02/05/t...

Elon Musk’s companies—Tesla and SpaceX—have received billions in government contracts and subsidies. Yet, this issue is largely ignored. Isn’t it time we started holding corporations accountable for the massive burden they place on taxpayers?

Why aren’t we looking into corporate welfare? In the United States, it costs taxpayers billions each year, with estimates ranging from $92 billion to $100 billion annually. Meanwhile, USAID costs only $40 billion. Hmmm… doesn’t add up.
