"The businessman & TV star Lord Alan Sugar does not mince his words. 'The biggest disaster, in my lifetime, was us leaving the EU', he declared on this 5th anniversary of Brexit, adding: 'Get Back in the EU.'"

You know the game is up when you've lost Lord Sugar.

Most people think leaving the EU was a mistake - but don't expect politicians to reopen the Brexit question
Five years on, even many of those who still champion Brexit, including Nigel Farage, concede that it has "failed" - so why are the main parties afraid to tell voters they got it wrong?

Good morning,

I haven’t been on social media for a while. Checking in today. Thank you new followers. Please be patient. I usually follow back but need a bit of time.

Lovely frosty blue sky weather here. Time for a dog walk.

Have a good Sunday.

Every single poll and survey shows a large majority regretting Brexit and wanting to rejoin the SM, CU and/or the EU as a whole.

I fail to see why we should be bullied by a right wing media, minority of the population and cowardly government.

I want a government with balls not excuses.

If only this from the Sunday Times were new - the truth is even worse: that trusts have been advertising for “corridor nurses” for years. A horrendous illustration of how overwhelmed our hospitals are every year, all year. This isn’t “flu” - it’s flu + lack of beds + failure to address social care 🧵
