A few doctors striking for a few days will not be what causes the collapse of the NHS.

Years of chronic underfunding and mismanagement will do that for you.

Probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening. That was 56% of all electricity on Britain’s grid.

Tomorrow is a hugely important day.

At 4pm, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry will publish its report into the UK’s pandemic decision-making & political governance.

I dearly hope our political leaders & decision-makers will listen, learn &, above all, act on the findings.

Because there will be a next time.

This is what I love about Zack Polanski.

He isn't afraid to show his emotions, to be open about how situations like these affect him, all while remaining professional and well-spoken!
A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

These unconscionable cuts to a vital lifeline fund for some of the most vulnerable children & young adults in England are staggering - a 60% reduction from £7.5K to just £3K per child & even worse - these changes were introduced by the government without consultation, warning and no evidence base
🚨This is not what I expect from a Labour government

Boris Johnson says at the inquiry "it was slow to dawn on government generally about the full horror of of Covid."

Why? Why was it so slow to dawn on the government what could happen?

That slowness cost lives and livelihoods at a grand scale.

For 56 minutes Sky News and BBC News interrupted everything else and carried a Reform UK feed live, uninterrupted, unchallenged. The stream spluttered, froze, pixelated - dozens of times - still they stuck with it. FOR ONE HOUR.

This is an editorial choice. No other party gets this coverage. ~AA
