HOUSE OF DYNAMITE is extremely well made, great acting, great directing. Also a crap movie.

Man I really want to be supportive of Shudder but clumsily editing commercial breaks into movies is probably a dealbreaker

I have made it my life’s work to get more people to watch MRS. DAVIS. I have gotten 2 people to watch it so far, which I am pretty sure doubled its total viewership. Everyone is missing out.
Everyone has a 1-2 season TV show they sorely miss and not enough people knew about that you are always praising the heavens about.

What's yours?

At 4p ET/1p PT, I’ll have a one of a kind interview with Joaquin Oliver. He died in the Parkland school shooting. But his parents have created an AI version of their son for a powerful message on gun violence. Plus TX Rep. @jamestalarico.bsky.social - see you soon on Substack and later on YouTube.

In the 1990 TV movie version of IT, the kids manage to make Pennywise go away by closing their eyes and ignoring him and saying “There ain’t nothing there.” Now all of BlueSky is doing that with the vice president and I think that’s beautiful.

Peter David is a huge part of my early formative nerddom. I was a huge fan of his HULK and X-FACTOR of course, but also, I had access to his Star Trek novels before I actually had any way to watch the TV show. I’m pretty sure my first exposure to Star Trek was VENDETTA.

There's a man in back of this place. He's the one who's doing it. I can see him through the wall. I can see his face. I hope that I never see that face, ever, outside of a dream.

I will go one further, not only should the Doctor not be some super-special secret Time Lord thing, he should be their version of a a fuckup. He’s the ultra-evolved super-genius alien version of a stoner who lives in his car! That’s already cool enough!
Hot take: I don't understand Doctor Who fans who hate the "Timeless Child" storyline but love the Cartmel Masterplan.

They're both basically the same thing: an attempt to give the Doctor a mysterious new backstory that ties back to the Time Lords' origins. They have similar strengths/weaknesses.

Unquestionably the best thing about living in DC is realizing you have never had a certain world cuisine, going online and finding the closest restaurant that sells it (probably within 1 mile of you) and then having your mind absolutely blown by how good it is
