American Cinematheque had a Rob Reiner retrospective a few months ago. It was heartening to see When Harry Met Sally in a sold out theater and The Princess Bride filled with parents showing the film to their kids for the first time. He was one of our deftest storytellers, hands down.

Women don't need men to pay for them. At a minimum we just want a guy who splits life/household duties with us, bathes regularly (including their legs and undercarriage,) and reads a book now and again. That some guys think that's asking too much is baffling.
