People literally died from Covid while claiming it doesn’t exist. There is never going to be a wake up call for some people. A lot of people. It’s not about convincing them if they can’t be convinced. IMO it’s about overwhelming them entirely with opposition.

I love having a group chat with my friends that keep each other updated with everything going on. We openly say how scared we are but are determined to fight and resist. I love them so much.

Absolutely this. I’ve been reporting on ASMR for over a decade now. It’s a relaxation tool that is supposed to produce sensations associated with being calm and happy, even lulling people to sleep. The White House invoking it alongside immigrants being shackled w/o due process is social manipulation
I think most people are intuitively aware of this but something like the official White House account posting an “ASMR” video of shackled immigrants is not just cruel for its own sake, it’s intentional envelope-pushing to ramp up to desensitization over inhumane detention, camps, and deaths

I feel like I don’t know my parents, especially my mom, anymore. Showing my mom the literal video of the Nazi salute on stage, and she doesn’t know if that’s actually what it was. My heart is just broken. I don’t know the people that raised me.
