My life is just me suddenly being aware it's about 16.40 and I've not achieved all the stuff I set out to do that day, so I better dutifully readd them to tomorrow's to do list in the futile hope tomorrow will be different.

Funny in the press how any proposal to raise taxes, however justified or not, is always called a Tax Raid, whilst any proposal to reduce benefits is never a Benefits Raid.

I just watched the first episode of this, after changing the channel to BBC2 by accident at 10pm. I'm glad I did, I ruddy loved it.
The BBC adaptation of Rónán Hession’s Leonard & Hungry Paul is utterly charming, with a great cast led by Alex Lawther, Laurie Kynaston & Jamie-Lee O'Donnell. How could I resist the story of a sad socially inadequate ghost writer?

Quite. And people used to walk single file on pavements.
Covid was a wasted opportunity. During lockdown the climate of earth drastically improved, outdated work practices were uprooted & people had time for their own lives. It's a shame none of that continued.

Life was better when sports personalities would record a song and enter it into the charts. Snooker Loopy and Diamond Lights are genuine classics in this genre.

Same. Unless it's a really good notebook then I'm reluctant to spoil it by using it, so it sits pristine and redundant on the shelf.
If I get a set of matching notebooks with a really good pen then I will definitely do a better job of both planning and carrying through on projects. That's obvious.
