Limuw is the Chumash name for Santa Cruz Island, one of the Channel Islands off the coast of L.A. I visited the island last year with Alabaster Pizzo and @katbus.bsky.social and finally got around to drawing a portrait of the three of us.

Sometimes it takes me over a year to get around to drawing something I want to draw. Finally finished that something today! I'm trying to get into the habit of putting art on my website before I post it on Da Socials, so if you want to see this new piece now, you know where to find it.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

I've been mulling over replacing this yellow dog of mine with a new fursona next year. Quite something to contemplate, trying to do the whole "splice a cartoon animal-man to my sense of self" thing again. I have to be sure the transplant will take.

I have been having kind of a very difficult year. One thing that I can depend on and feel good about is my work on Anime Sickos Podcast. It is a unique and hilarious show and I am deeply proud of it and myself as a host and producer. It would kick ass if you could give it a listen.
