idk how many of you are birders but i'd never heard of Crossley bird guides until i started IDing birds in the lab. he is a photographer who creates collages, which are rly helpful to see different plumages, ages, shape, and habitats. rly useful crossreference

always feel conflicted tagging my taxidermy photos bc it is so clinical that I think if you have actual trauma involving dead birds that it's a really gentle way to test those waters—a friend of mine had such impactful trauma involving dead animals that he would immediately panic if he saw roadkill—
