Trump’s Justice Department is suing California to block its new congressional map.

Pam Bondi sat there and said NOTHING while Texas, North Carolina, Missouri, and other Republican states redrew their maps this year. But California voters approve a new map, and now she wants to go to court.

Trump has re-pardoned January 6 insurrectionist Dan Wilson, who was pardoned in January for his role in the attempted government takeover. Now he’s been pardoned again for an unrelated gun conviction in Kentucky.

Don’t ever tell me Trump cares about law and order. He cares about loyalty to Trump.

genuinely crazy to me how unitary executive advocates read the vesting clause as granting a huge scope of essentially royal "inherent" powers. one would think that if the framers intended to give the president royal authority, they would have just said so.

I trace history of MAGA manufacturing antifa bogeyman to both distract from v real far right violence, & to create a pretext for vigilantes & police to target the wider left www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...

This is so easy to understand. Why aren't more people "getting it?"
The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

This practice is bad for America and for every country accepting a role to pass deportees along to people who may kill, torture, or disappear them.

If we can take YEARS to find someone who will accept every cleared GITMO detainee into a place of safety, we can respect human rights in deportation
NEW: Air Force jets are doing ICE flights to Africa with transponders turned off, making them nearly un-trackable.

This includes the third-country removal to Ghana and another secret flight. We figured out where it landed.

Zelenskyy appeared to push back on this claim earlier this morning.

“Killings must stop as soon as possible, the fire must cease both on the battlefield and in the sky, as well as against our port infrastructure,” he said.
Amazing. Trump rolls out red carpet for Putin, gets nothing whatsoever for it, then says it's on Zelensky to end the war. Now he's gone all the way to fully backing Putin's position and comically trying to spin that as world-historical peacemaking on his part.
