I had high(er) hopes for Carney. But he continues to be conservative-lite. He's still better than the alternative, but not by much.

Discovery was great because it explored new challenges. Lower Decks was great because it flipped ST on its head and laughed at itself.
SNW is a fun throwback.
But Picard got dull as it just turned to fan service and the same old bad guys.
