We’re in another Middle East war. I’m reflecting on the fact that it’s easy to start a war, difficult to end it. There’s often war optimism, so it’s unlikely to end with bomb strikes today. Lastly, I’m troubled that Trump’s national security team is who we have running this war.

Reminder that in 1998 Cory Booker went on a 10 day hunger strike to protest substandard housing conditions in Newark. (I remember because I visited him during his hunger strike.)

The entire conversation around government funding is Washington at its worst. I cannot in good conscience vote for a bill that increases costs for Georgians, defunds care for servicemembers, and slashes investments in education and health care.

I am voting NO on the partisan funding bill.

Went looking for info on anti-commandeering doctrine and immigration law since I live in a blue city in a red state. National Immigration Project has already prepared a legal memo on why the Bova letter is b.s. and sanctuary policies are legal. nipnlg.org/sites/defaul...

DJI, embattled Chinese manufacturer of majority of drones, turned off geofencing yesterday so folks can now fly over airports, the White House, etc. The FAA had ten years to come up with regs and just went with digital license plates and individual responsibility. 🍿
DJI will no longer stop drones from flying over airports, wildfires, and the White House
DJI claims the decision “aligns” with the FAA’s rules.

Trump's pick to lead NASA is Jared Isaacman, friend of Elon Musk, whose online payment company has extensive financial ties to SpaceX.

If confirmed, Isaacman would oversee billions of dollars in government contracts awarded to SpaceX.

Earlier this year, Isaacman became the first private citizen to conduct a spacewalk. But his longstanding ties with Elon Musk's company SpaceX raise possible conflicts of interest.
