In any case, even in his late sixties, I seriously doubt he needed it. But he was capable of such incredible tenderness and vulnerability when he'd help us work with people who were struggling spiritually and financially. He'd been through the worst in his life, and all he wanted was to lift others.

Public virtue is NOT relative. It is objectively wrong to lie, to cheat, to steal, to falsely accuse, to have prejudice against others because of immutable traits or religious affiliation. It is wrong to embezzle. It is wrong to sexually assault people. Voters have to start believing this again.

Super unhelpful to assert that a 79 year old man whose father had dementia, who may well have it himself, who has chronic vascular insufficiency, potential hearing loss and a history of obesity will remain at his job in 2 years, never mind 4.
More than anything else, this is the thing that persuades me that Trump does not plan on leaving in 2028

What this otherwise thoughtful thread misses is that this is almost certainly a by-product of his declining mental abilities, the fact that he put Rosie O'Donnell to target rather than a traditional political enemy really gives it away.
