In any case, even in his late sixties, I seriously doubt he needed it. But he was capable of such incredible tenderness and vulnerability when he'd help us work with people who were struggling spiritually and financially. He'd been through the worst in his life, and all he wanted was to lift others.

Public virtue is NOT relative. It is objectively wrong to lie, to cheat, to steal, to falsely accuse, to have prejudice against others because of immutable traits or religious affiliation. It is wrong to embezzle. It is wrong to sexually assault people. Voters have to start believing this again.
