Since the 'Ceasefire' began - Israel has now killed 203 Palestinians in Gaza & violated the ceasefire over 80 times. Last night's mass murder by Israel (of 104 people) included 46 children + 20 women, and included another journalist (taking total # of journalists killed to 259).

🟢 Khalil al-Hayya: “The War Is Over — Gaza Must Be Rebuilt Under Palestinian Leadership” Al Jazeera interview with the Head of Hamas in Gaza and Chief Negotiator for Hamas ▪️ Failure of the Occupation Al-Hayya said the Israeli occupation “has failed to achieve its goals throughout two years of war.” He noted that “President Trump has said the war is over, and every day we hear American statements that the war is over,” adding: “We will not give the occupation any pretext to restart the war.” ▪️ Captives and Bodies of Soldiers He noted that Hamas “handed over 20 Israeli captives 72 hours after the ceasefire took effect” and has now transferred “17 out of 28 bodies of occupation captives.” On Sunday, he said, “new areas will be entered to search for the bodies of some remaining occupation captives.” ▪️ Gaza Governance and Security “We have no objection to any national figure living in Gaza governing the Strip,” Al-Hayya said. “We will hand over all administrative responsibilities in Gaza — including security — to the governing committee.” He added that Hamas wants to move toward elections “as a first step toward restoring national unity,” saying, “We are one people, and we want one authority and one government.” ▪️ Coordination with Fatah and the UN Al-Hayya confirmed that Hamas has reached “an understanding with Fatah regarding the UN forces to separate the sides (Israel and Palestine) and monitor the ceasefire.” He said all factions agree that “the UN mission’s role will be enabling Gaza’s reconstruction,” not occupation. ▪️ Talks with U.S. Envoys He revealed that during meetings with U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, he told them, “We are advocates of stability,” and that “President Trump has the ability to restrain the Israeli occupation.” Al-Hayya described Israel’s attack on Doha and its broader military campaign as “an unprecedented and historic failure” that marked “a major setback for the occupation.” ▪️ Weapons and Resistance “Our weapons are tied to the existence of the occupation and aggression,” he said. “If the occupation ends, these weapons will belong to the state.” He confirmed that the issue of weapons “is still under discussion with the factions and mediators,” stressing that Hamas “will not take any position that goes against the nationally agreed stance.” ▪️ Humanitarian Crisis Al-Hayya said the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire: “Gaza needs 6,000 aid trucks a day - not just 600” but far fewer than the ceasefire-mandated minimum were entering daily. He also accused the occupation of continuing to “block the entry of certain supplies, as if the war were still going on,” warning that “ongoing violations and obstruction of aid are worrying the people, and threaten to undermine the agreement.” He urged mediators to “step in” to ensure the agreement is upheld. ▪️ National Priorities and Prisoners “The West Bank remains under the weight of settlement expansion,” Al-Hayya said, calling to “put our national house in order.” He described the prisoners’ issue as “a national cause,” saying Hamas is working “to end their suffering completely.” He confirmed that “the occupation was stubborn about several of the prisoners’ names,” but that “efforts on this issue are still ongoing.”
