IMO: I can cope with some IPL T20 (when I can stay up that late), but this test & 1 day stuff is seriously 💤💤💤

FFS Amazon Ring team. You literally had ONE JOB.

When someone presses our doorbell we need to know about it.
Instead:

1) No motion detection notification in App (nor in history)
2) Ring Chime failed to work
3) No Doorbell pressed notification in App (nor in history)
= Missed delivery

The notion that either Australia or Turkey should be hosting COP31 when both countries have a rating of 'POOR' on Net Zero according to climate action tracker is a complete farce.
The $300m stripping of funding from CSIRO by ALP makes it even more absurd.

What's happening in Australian politics rn is what happened in the US - and that's how they ended up with Trump.
Albanese is a weak leader who stands for nothing except pleasing lobbyists & conservatives (much like Biden), LNP an even bigger mess paving the way for PHON to take their base.

#auspol
🚨 NEW: Sussan Ley has a favourability rating of minus 21% in the latest RedBridge polling, while Anthony Albanese is rated at minus 2%

More than a third of Australians have not heard of either Andrew Hastie or Angus Taylor, even as both are named as contenders for Liberal leadership

Happy to see this a$$hole f*ck right off out of this country. However, I'm concerned these laws will be misused to deport Pro-Palestinian protesters because it's clear this gov can't seem to tell the difference between legitimate protests and a hate rally.

You have to wonder at this point if LNP and One Nation will form a far right coalition going into the next election. Their policies are almost 100% aligned & they'd pose a huge threat to ALP if they managed to consolidate candidates into each electorate to not cannibalize each others votes.

EVERY SINGLE THING LNP are telling us about dumping Net Zero is based on outright lies & misinformation. Ley & these MPs all know this, but they've decided if they repeat these lies often enough then people out there will be stupid enough to believe them.

Listening to ALP and LNP argue about Net Zero commitments this week is a bit like listening to two serial rapists arguing about who was more respectful to women.. 🤬

The Climate Action Tracker (Jun/25) rates ALP's Australia Climate & Net Zero commitments as 'INSUFFICIENT' with comprehensiveness ranked as 'POOR'.

ALP still claim to be taking climate action seriously which is clearly a lie. 🤬

When you look at the actions (and donors list) for the major parties I don't honestly believe either ALP or LNP have any actual REAL ambition to reach Net Zero.
The differentiating factor between them is ALP is promising NZ to pick up votes & LNP is promising to block NZ to pick up votes.

It's not hard to connect the dots here between latest release of Epstein/Trump materials and Maxwell's recent increase in privileges/move to low security jail (and talk of full pardon). It feels very much like Maxwell has a considerable amount of renewed leverage on Trump.
November 12, 2025 at 11:58 PM
I reposted this 9 yrs ago today (in Nov/2016) when Trump won the election that first time.. How stupid were we/I to underestimate the gullibility and stupidity of US voters & just how f*cked up the US political system is to allow this all to have happened again (and worse).

Weird - thought these LNP folks loved smoke & pollution. I am surprised they didn't tell the Qantas crew it was fake news/science and demand the plane kept flying to it's destination.

Both John Laws & Graham Richardson are being given state funerals funded at taxpayer's expense - that's disgraceful. I knew Laws was a dodgy asshole but had I had no idea Richardson was so up to his neck in corruption as well (shocked but not surprised).

This is astonishing - Chris Minns is still trying to push through laws deemed *unconstitutional* by the supreme court apparently based on Neo-Nazi's protesting *outside parliament*. Is Minns actually suggesting Parliament is a 'place of worship' - does he think politicians are gods?? WTAF?

The upside of the horrific things Trump/GOP are doing is that it might actually encourage the Dems to rustle up a strong leader with decisive policies for next election (ie. an Obama not a Biden). In '20 they simply needed 'Not Trump' to win & cruised in (Harris offered nothing new either vs Biden).
November 11, 2025 at 2:20 AM
So in 12 months when it's become abundantly clear that prohibition hasn't worked / that it hasn't 'changed a generation' - do you think ALP will be brave enough to admit they got it completely wrong, undo these stupid rules & focus on important issues voters actually want them to act on? 🤦‍♂️
