Is it an (Anti) Immigration 'Protest' or a 'Hate Rally'?

(For all the stupid people in the back - journalists from TheAge/ABC/Newscorp, FTA TV, and most of our politicians sadly including Anthony 'also good people' Albanese).

F*cking pathetic ABC - ‘both sidesing” this by calling a White Supremacist ‘hate rally’ a ‘protest’ and then the actual protest against this unacceptable behaviour a rally. Their reporting is getting more and more indistinguishable from Newscorp every day.

What a farce. Mark Dreyfus - Zionist/IHRA supporter, Gaza Genocide denier, who went on a taxpayer funded junket to Israel this year to ensure Australia maintained a 'close friendship' with a government run by war criminals has been appointed as 'special envoy on international human rights'.

We had the one that looked like this (I think it's been updated/ruined since then by new company that sells it).

In which TheAge/Fairfax platforms hate speech & the incoherent ramblings of a despot as a legitimate news story and makes it their headline story.

Assuming Amber prices don't include GST (?) - here is previous 24hrs - the red line is the ex-GST import price I am paying with Globird on current plan.
November 24, 2025 at 12:03 AM
For my postcode :
My import price spike starts around 3pm and exceeds what I'm paying now (22c) through to ~7:30am. That's unfortunately the exact window where I'd typically be importing. Similarly feedin only offering good prices when I'd not be exporting unless I forced it.

The notion that either Australia or Turkey should be hosting COP31 when both countries have a rating of 'POOR' on Net Zero according to climate action tracker is a complete farce.
The $300m stripping of funding from CSIRO by ALP makes it even more absurd.

You have to wonder at this point if LNP and One Nation will form a far right coalition going into the next election. Their policies are almost 100% aligned & they'd pose a huge threat to ALP if they managed to consolidate candidates into each electorate to not cannibalize each others votes.

If you get the urge to test/review one of these (there are a bunch of similar ones on AliXpress). It claims they are specifically designed to work with Apple Find My network (so also don't work with Android) wonder if Apple have allowed this or they are hijacking the protocol. They are way cheaper.

Compared to other nations (excluding USA who have refused to set targets) - Australia is down the bottom.

These ratings don't fully take into account the climate damage being done by our exports either - we are the 3rd biggest fossil fuel exporter.

These summary graphs show just how far of the Paris agreement and targets they are.

Climate finance rated 'CRITICALLY INSUFFICIENT'
November 13, 2025 at 2:38 AM
The Climate Action Tracker (Jun/25) rates ALP's Australia Climate & Net Zero commitments as 'INSUFFICIENT' with comprehensiveness ranked as 'POOR'.

ALP still claim to be taking climate action seriously which is clearly a lie. 🤬

I reposted this 9 yrs ago today (in Nov/2016) when Trump won the election that first time.. How stupid were we/I to underestimate the gullibility and stupidity of US voters & just how f*cked up the US political system is to allow this all to have happened again (and worse).
November 12, 2025 at 4:37 AM
never I hope.. ALP are climate criminals and I'm sure Chalmers is up to his neck in it too. This is one of ALP's legacies below, but yeah let's keep getting distracted by their fake domestic renewable push while they export more coal/gas than ever before & open up more mines than ever before... 🤬

OMG this new VS2026 feature is awesome & something I've wanted for years - finally a way to suppress all the unwanted debug/output from the Android emulator and only see stuff I am sending to Debug... I can't see iOS equiv of this though? - it's a huge issue there too.

Installing VS2026 final release. I really do hope there is some great improvements + productivity enhancements for the developer experience, not just more unwanted AI functionality - which for the most part creates more problems than solutions.

This is astonishing - Chris Minns is still trying to push through laws deemed *unconstitutional* by the supreme court apparently based on Neo-Nazi's protesting *outside parliament*. Is Minns actually suggesting Parliament is a 'place of worship' - does he think politicians are gods?? WTAF?

Not looked at that - but if it's reliant on getting the % charge from the BMW API, as of about 4 weeks ago that will no longer work in Australia. Sounds like it would have to get it from the Wallbox (if that works) to be doable. Will need to hunt through the wallbox sensor history to see if there.
November 10, 2025 at 4:25 AM
I'm trying to show some more accurate values on my dashboard but the slight delays mean that the sigen usage/consumption values don't always align with the envoy production values.
November 10, 2025 at 2:32 AM
This was the initial set I figured out - might be a couple of mistakes in there (not sure if I edited them back here) but a reasonably good guide. The Sigen sensor update cadence is not as regular as the Envoy ones so they can be out of sync sometimes.

Not at all confusing or contradictory speed limit signage en route to Melbourne Airport - brought to you by the brains trust at vic gov/vic roads.
This wasn’t just in one place - similarly mis-signed in about 5 other locations.

Doing a half arsed Halloween this year.. For past 10+ yrs I have been assigned the door duties / given out large amounts of good quality chocolate & missed out on seeing the other cool stuff. This year will finally get out and about - hope the local kids behave themselves with this paltry offering.
