There’s a part of this where none of it matters unless dems win big in places they aren’t even trying to compete in the midterms. “Control of the Senate and House with everything they got” kind of has to be the mantra right? This can’t have a chance of ending if that’s not achieved…

I just have this feeling that of the 22 republican senate seats on the ballot in 2026, that we could flip a fair number of them if we focus less on those who broke ranks today and poured into those areas

I’d be lying if I said this was the case every time but like 87% of the time I really do enjoy helping my kids work through their emotions and outbursts, it feels like mini training for my own emotional awareness and resilience

“The Constitution doesn’t even require that the pardon be written, so the idea that the signature is by autopen rather than by handwritten signature seems not relevant to the constitutionality because Article II just says that the President has the power to pardon” - Bernadette Meyler, SLS Prof.
Mike Johnson: "Every executive action signed by the autopen without written authorization should be voided ... including all the pardons that he signed."

the democratic party’s basic problem is it has almost no control over how its message reaches the ears of voters, especially outside of presidential election years. but rather than devote serious time, attention and cash to that problem its consultants and pundits want to fight factional battles
