First they came for abortion.

Now it’s birth control, cancer screenings, prenatal care.

The Supreme Court just ruled states can block Medicaid patients from getting care at Planned Parenthood.

🚨NEWS: A judge has ordered the release of Rumeysa Ozturk — the Tufts student illegally abducted and detained for exercising her First Amendment rights, saying "there is no evidence" she did anything wrong.

This is a victory for the rule of law.

These baseless abductions must STOP NOW.

Mohsen Mahdawi's release is an encouraging step in the fight to defend our constitutional rights to due process & free speech.

Now, the Administration must release Rümeysa Öztürk, Mahmoud Khalil, and everyone unjustly detained.

We have not forgotten about you & we will fight for your rights daily.

Friendly reminder. In the United States, criminals are entitled to due process. Even if you pay hush money rig an election, steal top secret documents, or incite a mob to overthrow the government; no matter how egregious your crimes, you’re entitled to due process.

Today, Mohsen Mahdawi, a legal resident of Vermont, walked into an immigration office to complete a final step for citizenship. Instead, he was arrested by plain-clothed, armed individuals with faces covered. This is immoral, inhumane, and illegal. He must receive due process and be released.

Louis CK still goes on comedy tours, Johnny Depp was forgiven by the vast majority of people, Bill Cosby got out of prison on a technicality, Cuomo is running for mayor of NYC, Trump is president for a second term, Jonathan Majors is being welcomed back into Hollywood, etc.

And this was WITH MeToo
"The left went too far" in contemporary U.S. politics is almost always a lie and a very convenient way to rationalize moral failure. For example, "MeToo went too far" replaces "I do not care about sexual violence or its victims and I don't want to have to even feel bad about that"

🚨 April 19 is happening — and it’s more than just a protest.

Yes, people will be in the streets again. Others will be organizing food drives, volunteering at shelters, hosting teach-ins, and finding other creative ways to show up for their communities and push back against this administration.

It’s a recalibration of economic control.

Oligarchs don’t live paycheck to paycheck. They have the capital to buy market dips and recoup faster, acquiring more assets at fire sale prices along the way.

When the dust finally settles, they will own more.

The rest of us will own less. A lot less.

We’re building a #PeoplesMovement.

Today, over 3 million people across the country stood up to say HANDS OFF our democracy.

And history shows that when just 3.5% of the population engages in sustained, peaceful resistance—transformative change is inevitable.

She has not received her required asthma medications—a violation of her fundamental right to medical care.

This is cruelty, it is neglect, and it is a damning moral and legal failure.
