A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

A Berwyn family was driving with their 1-year-old child Saturday when they were pepper-sprayed by federal agents, a video taken by the family shows. The action appears to violate a judge’s restriction on use of force.

truly disturbing video from palatine.

agents appear to drive onto a sidewalk in pursuit. as they wrestle to put a young person in the car, the driver starts to pull away. the person recording shouts, “they’re tasing him!”

unclear if they actually used the taser, but you can hear it charging up.

The public cant believe thats what he’s doing while life gets more expensive for us. I think that it’s privately funded make it worse too.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

And the contract between Girl Scouts and ICE couldn’t be starker.

NEW: Dems easily flipped the sheriff's office in Pennsylvania's Bucks County, a big swing county in the Philly suburbs.

So? The incumbent GOP sheriff had contracted with ICE. His Dem challenger promised to end the contract.

Now he wants other swing-state Dems to look at his victory as a lesson:

He didn’t feel safe even with the CPD protecting him… well i guess I know the feeling but I’ve never pointed a gun at someone over it.
A chaotic scene, ICE launched a kidnapping raid on an entire city block in Chicago. One Goon was seen pointing a gun at unarmed neighbors who were filming the incident. Chicago PD assisted ICE, threatening the neighbors with arrest. Some form of secret police were present in the crowd on 11/8/2025.

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Deportation has taken away the father I once knew and given me back a person I no longer recognize.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I really only want to talk about the assault on my people but this is such good news i cant help it.

Who would’ve thought Dems betray us and the Supreme Court would up hold their own law agains the admin?

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

@durbin.senate.gov this is not what we wanted! This vote will be your legacy as we replace you next year.
I hope letting repubs open airlines was worth it.
Your tenure as a senator will be remembered by this vote no matter what the December vote brings!

“One of the other things he did was he closed 50 schools, he closed half of the city’s mental health clinics, and he closed the police districts, and crime went up,” Cobb said about Emanuel’s tenure as Chicago mayor.
A Sunday read — 26 members of the Chicago City Council signed a letter expressing concern about Mayor Brandon Johnson’s proposal to tax wealthy corporations, making them pay their fair share.

Here’s a look at who’s for/against the proposal.

Emanuel killed it. Johnson wants it back. Chicago’s corporate head tax debate is about more than money • The TRiiBE
Proponents say former Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s removal of the corporate head tax left a hole in the city's budget that was never replaced; they want the rich to pay their fair share.

Everyone’s getting to see what that looks like in practice now & they don’t seem to like it.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.
