Was once told I could suck the fun out of winning the lottery.
Same vibe as Idocracy’s “brought to you by Brawndo”
They’ve laid off so many people that the government is now getting its economic data from DoorDash.

If we can’t watch Hocus Pocus together whilst carving jack-o’-lanterns and having hot apple cider by candlelight during a full moon on a cool October night with the sound of wolves in the distance, then what's the point?

Absolutely parasitic
You don't pave over the Rose Garden, gild the Oval, or plan a $200M ballroom if you're planning on moving out anytime soon.

The political media is obsessively relitigating the issue of Biden being too old and out of touch while the current president babbles incoherently at press conferences and regularly admits he's not the one making decisions on key policy matters.

Q&A from a talk I gave last week.

Q: "What do you think is the biggest threat in cybersecurity right now? Is it post-quantum computing? Is it AI?"

One of the tough things about covering Trump’s 2nd term is that he is breaking so many laws & norms that when you cover them each on their own, you come off as an anti-Trump Dem pundit w “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” But when you list it all out things indeed look pretty alarming

Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

His argument fails even on its own terms.

Due process. Without it, we are not the USA. No matter how heinous the crime or disgusting the person, they get due process. All people in the US (citizen or not) get their day in court to be judged and sentenced. If you don’t get that, if you don’t back that, you are espousing unAmerican ideals.

Just a reminder that Trump/DOJ continuing to let Abrego Garcia sit in CECOT is *a crime*. Deprivation of rights under color of law is a crime. Was it an "error" at first? Maybe. But once they were aware of the error, and ordered by a judge to return him, and then refusing, it's willful 1/

Good time to let your Senators know what you think of that.
