Watching friends and loved ones all week terrified for their lives broke my fucking heart.

Fuck ICE, fuck the LAPD, fuck the disproportionate and militaristic response to people pushing back against these systems.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the Red Pepper item makes it harder for Mario and Luigi to jump. An unused animation exists that is theorized to have been intended for this. It likely ultimately went unused due to making Mario and Luigi look constipated.

This post has breached containment in the weirdest way. I am sorry to all of the people who are relaying their tragedies in the replies, but I would like everyone to know I was referencing the famous 90s rock song Detachable Penis (King Missile, 1992).
Hey quick question have you ever been close to tragedy or been close to folks who have? Oh wow that’s crazy in that case have you ever felt a pain so powerful/so heavy you collapse?

people will speak about a game they played as a kid with the same reverence that they might a great song or novel, about how it engrossed them totally and completely. They may even tear up talking about it. and then you ask what game it was and it was Spongebob battle for bikini bottom

My own opinion is that it's good to signal (through words and/or actions) the virtues that you value; that's one of the most important parts of maintaining a healthy community.

As we get older, we are conditioned to remove play from our daily routine. I truly believe that the act of play is as important as water and shelter. It’s never too late to pick up a stick on a walk and have it become the most powerful tool in your imaginative arsenal.

Glad I have a cat because it's weirdly calming to look at something that has absolutely no capacity to understand what is happening
