"but it's everywhere now so we just have to accept it's the new reality" motherfucker we can just stop putting it everywhere! we did it with asbestos and CFCs and lead-based paint or petrol and make-up with arsenic in it! if everyone is using something and it's bad, we can choose to stop!
"anti-AI people should just learn more about it" motherfucker I know so much about it, that's why I'm anti-AI

I'm just going to keep noting that the owner and operator of Twitter -- the social media that too many politicians and pundits use to determine what's "normal" -- keeps on pushing the white supremacist Great Replacement Theory that has been the motivation for multiple mass shootings in this country.
Concern over low birth rates was what the theocracy in Margaret Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale used to come to power.

The entire trans community is held responsible for every 19 year old who ever yelled at someone online about pronouns because we're not given the dignity of being separate individuals the way members of the majority are.

This is just how prejudice works.
the thing is

we tried to talk to bigots about this stuff. take Rowling for eg. the amount of writing produced by trans people genuinely trying to engage with her in tweets, emails, articles etc is uncountable.

she is still mates with those calling for our eradication.

School play gets canceled for "inappropriate content".

In response students write [REDACTED], their own anti-censorship play skewering the school district, sells out performances, and ultimately takes gold at the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival.

Hey folks, if ya got a minute... I'd love to see Selaco's score on Steam heal up... Recent reviews are still "Mixed" from hatebombing after recent drama with the Anti-Woke Awards (they ran an ad for the game, dev stated Selaco never asked for one, they got mad).

It's BS, we all know the game rocks.

I'm so friggin exhausted. All I can say is as long as RFK Jr. is running public health, learn his office phone number and blow up his phone at every mistake.
Not pushing back meanings people will literally die. Learn who is your state's health commissioner and be ready to bug the hell out of them.

We’re not going to split kids into “haves” and “have nots,” especially in the lunchroom.

We’re feeding our children - and saving families millions of dollars along the way.

It’s that simple.
Free school meals has saved MN families $267.8 million in its first year — including many who needed help, but just missed qualifying in the past.

As St. Paul teacher Mandi Jung points out, feeding kids is also just the right thing to do. Hungry students can’t learn. #mnleg #edmnvotes

3) Parents shouldn’t make decisions for other parents’ children.

We only know this man is in Gitmo because Noem tweeted a propaganda photo that included him and his sister saw it. He has no criminal record. He entered the US in January and immediately made an appointment with CBP to claim asylum. They sent him to a concentration camp bc of his basketball tattoo.

Goddamn this goes hard
Qin Zheng is the inevitable collision of Prometheus and Machiavelli—stealing fire for the people while ensuring they never hold the torch too long. Somewhere between Big Brother’s guiding hand and Robespierre’s righteous blade, he turns revolution into regime with chilling efficiency.

I think until the people who thought it would be fun are driven out of public life and are unwilling to ever show their faces outside their homes again for fear of backlash in public they have not been taught their lesson adequately
I think even in the media there is a certain realization palpable that having Trump back isn't as fun and cooky as they thought it would be.

It's also why you'll find most conspiracy theories actually rest on "blood libel" anti-semitism somewhere. The fact that it's obviously batshit doesn't matter.

When in doubt, blame a marginalized group. Yes, a lot of the time it sounds absurd because it is absurd. But to a certain kind of person, that propaganda is very effective because they -want- to believe it. They just want someone to hate and blame.
