Finally a resolution to the school saga, the ICO issued a decision notice and they upheld my complaint and spent some time on every other area they failed that was technically outside the complaint.

It's okay to grieve, and miss your loved ones so bad you cry when you think about them. I'd trade anything to see my son again.

But this isn't real. This is the opposite of humanity, it's a soulless grab by billionaires that want to monetise grief and strip you of memories of family and friends

Glad I cancelled my TV licence years ago as the BBC is amongst the transphobic feeding frenzy.

Cancel your licence folks
Looking at the papers and broadcast media today having read the press summary of the Sandie Peggie judgment is wild.

They either haven’t read it or are lying about it.

And then people wring their hands about trust in institutions or bemoan people resorting to social media for news.

Two weeks ago I said that there were likely millions of uninstalled Blackwell GPUs sitting in warehouses as there is neither the data center capacity nor the power to turn them on. Michael Burry is looking into it and it looks like he’s got evidence I’m right.

Sega has told investors that it will “pursue efficiency improvements, such as leveraging AI” in future game development.

The company is aware of its risk, however: "...as AI adoption can face strong resistance in creative areas… we will proceed by carefully assess [sic] appropriate use cases."

Every dollar JK Rowling makes from Harry Potter is going into bankrolling an extortion racket issuing legal threats to organizations across the UK to purge themselves of trans people or face ruinous lawfare.
i hope every single person who still buys harry potter merch or engages with that franchise is happy that they're literally making girl guides cry

girl guides uk have been forced very much against their will to exclude trans girls. full statement is here: www.girlguiding.org.uk/information-...

When told to calm down over the latest attack on trans people I ask "Are we human or are you a cowardly?"
Rowling is a bigoted nasty miserable bitch that wants to bully the UK with her cash.... Don't lose your soul to her money, support trans rights and human rights instead.
There's going to be a lot of people telling trans people in the UK to "calm down" and their expressions of rage "are not helpful" to the organizations caving to fascism.

Fuck em. This is not about being helpful. This is about being recognized as equal human beings by society.

My loathing for the UK gov and NHS increases with how they treat and attack trans people and especially trans kids.
Sharing HRT is a valid defence against them stopping the original compromise of Puberty blockers.

The myth is circulating again that it was more radical otg activists and assimilationist gays ("boots and suits") teaming up that was responsible for queer communities' gains late '60s on.

The history doesn't back this up. What actually happened is more revealing. 🧵

Let's start with Stonewall...

Shows that the EHRC guidance was a complete stitch up if it took less than a day to draft.
51/ The EHRC Chief Executive, John Kirkpatrick, gave written evidence that it took less than a day to draft the guidance, and just over 24 hours in total to decide to publish it.

Cycle-to-work is why I have an EAPC (electric bike). Without the scheme I would not have been able to get to work, as there was no direct bus and the office was at the top of a steep hill.

It cut my commute from impossible to 10mins.
