A man slated for deportation has captured conditions inside the Krome Detention Center in Florida. He says some people have been confined like this for up to 30 days.

Black Studies (my major) was instituted at my PWI bc Black students took over the admin office in an act of civil disobedience to get it added!
For folks who don’t know, ethnic studies programs like African American/Africana Studies, Asian American Studies, Chicano Studies and the like come directly from civil right era campus activism. Attempts to disempower such programs should be framed as attacks on civil rights same as much else rn.

This is a coup! U.S. Institute for Peace called the DC police on the Musk team members in an effort to stop them from trespassing because the institute has control of its own building and the land it sits on. But instead, the DC police allowed them to enter and kicked out the institute’s officials.

💉🧵The trend to ban mRNA vaccines is extremely concerning. Montana recently voted down a ban and Idaho is introducing a bill to criminalize their use. mRNA vaccines have been studied since 1990 and are a critical scientific advancement. An mRNA vaccine against pancreatic cancer is in clinical trials
