De wereld verandert in sneltreinvaart. In Nederland gebeurt intussen vrijwel niets, omdat alles politiek wordt gemaakt.

In deze tijd hebben we geen politiek nodig, maar leiderschap.

Capital One has a long history of abusing customers.

Allowing it to get even bigger by acquiring Discover would subject millions more Americans to these illegal practices.

Financial regulators need to block this deal.

Superb op-ed by Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post about the link between #climate change and the LA fires. This is how it should be done by every journalist.

Make fun of that weirdo but don’t give him the damn outrage.

57 companies are responsible for 80% of global greenhouse gas emissions since 2016.

These companies include fossil fuel giants like Chevron, Shell, and BP, who have been raking in record profits.

The profits of Big Oil should not be more important than the future of our planet.

Some of the responses we've seen to the CA fires illustrate the same basic political dynamic that helped Trump win last year. It's a given Republicans will crap on Dems when things go wrong. But it's also a given that the far left does it too, often in equally misleading ways.

I’m going to speak very slowly and carefully about this so there’s no misunderstanding.

All the subsidies that help Americans pay their healthcare premiums expire this year. Republicans have already vowed they will NOT renew them.

This means healthcare costs could go up by 75% for millions.
