Earnest post: there is increasingly direct evidence that Trump participated in child sex trafficking or at least knew about it.

He should resign, be impeached and removed from office, and prosecuted.

Even if you don’t think that WILL happen it’s important to say publicly that it SHOULD happen.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

Pritzker: This is not about fighting crime. This is about the President and his complicit lackey, Stephen Miller, searching for ways to lay the groundwork to circumvent our democracy, militarize our cities, and end elections.

The UK’s Online Safety Act is being sold as a way to protect children. But instead, UK politicians are pushing sweeping censorship and forcing platforms to implement invasive age checks. This is not safety–it's surveillance.
Blocking Access to Harmful Content Will Not Protect Children Online, No Matter How Many Times UK Politicians Say So
The UK is having a moment. In late July, new rules took effect that require all online services available in the UK to assess whether they host content considered harmful to children, and if so, these...

when i was a child, my family took CHIP and food stamps. this shaped my entire orientation toward government programs (positive) in a way most pundits don't have access to. and also, not to brag, but i think my siblings and i are proof that the ROI on feeding children is very high
There is not a single congressional district in the U.S. where more than 15% of voters support cuts to SNAP, the federal program that provides food assistance to millions of low-income Americans.

Gélineau advanced the term "narcolepsy" in 1880 while de la Tourette described his eponymous syndrome in 1885. "Autism" was coined by Bleuler in 1911, with full diagnoses soon after.

But what do I know? I'm not the Cabinet secretary in charge of the goddamn Department of Health and Human Services.

Seniors won't complain if they miss a Social Security check, Lutnick says
More than 70 million Americans get a Social Security benefit every month, and for many, those checks are their only income.
