Judging by the shamefully opportunistic & politicizing rhetoric of some rightwingers on Twitter, & their cynical use of Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder for political point scoring, it’s almost as if Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman wasn’t murdered by a Trump-voting MAGA maniac just 12 weeks ago.

The MSNBC commentator saying that most political violence has historically come from the left just once again showed how we suffer from failing to learn history. Lynching, pogroms, race riots, the political violence that ended Reconstruction, and against the Civil Rights Movement. Come on.

He was then elected president. This is your president.

Similarly, big tech spent far more energy, money and lobbying capital on fighting Dems on minor limits on some of the most extreme consumer abuses than doing anything about their future existence in the market becoming entirely dependent on increasingly-exorbitant bribes.
Sure seems like Big Pharma spent way way more energy, money and lobbying capital on fighting Dems on prescription drugs than doing anything about the Secretary of HHS casually, and without any real evidence, telling everyone their products kill kids and give them autism.

Trump's own fingerprints and blood and semen could be found on that fucking letter, and they'd still deny it was from him. Because that's what they do. They lie. They keep daring legacy media to call them liars, and most of legacy media shrugs and says: "It's all so complicated."

I've been pretty tepid about radical solutions for SCOTUS because it will probably destroy it for a generation or so, but when you have a majority that refuses to write opinions or sign their names to decisions that endorse using race and ethnicity to detain people, what are we trying to save

I dunno, maybe the Supreme Court majority could have the decency to bestir themselves to write an actual, you know, opinion, with their names on it, explaining their endorsement of using race and ethnicity as part of a national policy of harassing and intimidating non-white Americans.
