ICE isn’t really a tool of silencing political opponents as it’s being made out to be. It’s very directly engaging in ethnic cleansing. Latin Americans are not political opponents; they are an ethnic group that is being distinctly targeted.

I've heard some anti-YIMBY academics suggest that homelessness and housing insecurity can be solved through raising incomes without increasing market rate housing supply. The fact that the past four years have seen strong wage growth AND record homelessness would seem to bely this.
