This shows the absurd nature of the current version of the market system. It should be impossible for anyone to have so much wealth that they can lose this much - and basically still laugh about it to our faces.

Elon Musk exemplifies that success in the private sector can come from a very narrow set of skills. One doesn't need to be exceptionally intelligent or well-rounded, as he clearly isn't. He struggles to distinguish between facts and cheap lies

Another major concern for Europe, and especially in helping Ukraine, is to create a European replacement for the Patriot system that is independent of the U.S.

Ukrainians have learned to adjust to a reality where we have to build our everyday life around the aftermath of Russian attacks.

The warhead of the Russian drone that attacked the children's clinic contained high-explosive elements (metal balls) - see image.

What I cannot understand is how any US politician can stand up and defend Putin.
Now Trump, Vance, Musk & Gabbard do so.
How can they still be US politicians?

And why has NOBODY mentioned the Budapest Memorandum of 1994? In that agreement Ukraine surrendered its nuclear weapons with the guarantee that the USA would defend them against aggression. Russia also agreed not to attack them but everyone knows THEY can’t be trusted

Maybe literally one fucking American newspapers could mention this in their, “think pieces,” about what happened yesterday.

It’s early in Europe but I’d already say @helenebismarck.bsky.social wins the internet today.
Honestly, one thing that seems to bind senior members of the Trump administration is their weird and somewhat disturbing relationship with women.
Getting dumped when you were 19 and never getting over it should not influence US security policy. Just an opinion.
There are not serious people. ‘National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, who was in the Oval Office during the meeting, told Breitbart News on Saturday that Zelensky was too focused on fact checking and compared the Ukrainian leader to an "ex-girlfriend".’ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The result? A fragmented public consciousness where competing realities coexist, each self-reinforcing and resistant to correction. When truth is no longer a shared foundation, power shifts to those who control the most compelling narrative - no matter how detached from reality it is.

Zelenskyy *cannot* agree to the lies from Vance.

He CANNOT say that his soldiers are "fleeing the battlefield".

He cannot simply become a propagandist for Putin.

This trap was always going to happen. The U.S. is aligned with russia (no lies can hide this fact now)
