“European leaders will still hesitate to confront Trump (…) But the evidence of the past year is that it is more dangerous to roll over in the face of Trump’s pressure than to fight back.”

Note that these are the usually Atlanticist pro-American centre right parties. They have given up appeasing Trump.
Appears that the most recent negotiated EU-US trade deal is dead, with Renew Europe and EPP party leadership rejecting the deal in light of Trump’s recent threats.

Evidence for link between digital technology use and teenage mental health problems is weak, our large study suggests
The research found little evidence that time spent on social media or frequent gaming causes mental health problems in early-to-mid adolescence.

Q: The premier of Greenland said today, 'We prefer to stay with Denmark.'

TRUMP: Who said that?

Q: The premier of Greenland

TRUMP: Well, that's their problem. I disagree with him. I don't know who he is. Don't know anything about him. But that's gonna be a big problem for him.

Ask yourself: If Donald Trump was a Russian asset, what would he be doing differently?

If your answer is “nothing,” then ask yourself this:

If the US President is a Russian asset, what should *I* be doing differently?
Trump: "Russia wants to see Ukraine succeed. It sounds a little strange but President Putin was very generous in his feeling toward Ukraine succeeding, including supplying energy, electricity and other things at very low prices."

Georgia’s Interior Ministry has issued directives to the organizers of the next weekly march in Tbilisi, which typically draws thousands of protesters. According to the notice, protesters must (a) stay strictly on the sidewalk and (b) not obstruct pedestrian movement, which seems impossible.
Despite mass arrests and draconian laws and fines, Georgians still take to the streets every day in 8+ cities. 🇬🇪🇪🇺

JD Vance has declared that France and the United Kingdom having nuclear weapons is a security threat to the United States.

Probably not the outcome Putin and Trump would be hoping for from a Ukrainian election. That said, it's easy to have high ratings as a popular former commander in chief who officially is not running for office. It would be interesting to see how Zaluzhnyi would manage a competitive campaign.
⚡️ Ukraine election poll shows tight first round, decisive Zaluzhnyi runoff win over Zelensky.

In a hypothetical runoff between the two, Zaluzhnyi would secure a decisive victory, winning 64% of the vote compared to Zelensky's 36%, according to the poll.
