If you are #Spurscurious, welcome!

If not, also welcome, but may I suggest muting the following words: Spurs, Tottenham, COYS, Ange, and Sonny.

We are going to let this become a multi-billion dollar, to-big-to-fail operation before we even start to come to grips with the societal consequences of this stuff.
The co-founder of Kalshi says: " The long-term vision is to financialize everything and create a tradable asset out of any difference in opinion."

Probably very obvious thesis: Richy’s Hail Mary shot, VDV’s box to box goal, Romero’s recent goals, and even Bergvall’s attempted flicks are incredible to watch…but are also symptoms of how desperate Spurs are to create offence.

It’s impossible to undo all the damage Trump has wrought to Canada-U.S. relations, says ex-UN ambassador Bob Rae
U.S. President Donald Trump "looks at Canada like the Big Bad Wolf looked at Little Red Riding Hood,” Rae said Wednesday. “It’s dinner. It’s a meal. It’s not a relationship.”

A little Regina Saskatchewan history: It was 52 years ago today that the prairie valley ski resort Snoasis opened.

My dad played a key role in its operation, and this is where I learned to ski.

Enemies everywhere.
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but Noah Smith now apparently thinks South Asians (like the Ugandan-Indian Zohran Mamdani) are using anti-Zionism as an inter-diaspora social bludgeon in order to move up the American cultural strata.

Or we could cut out the middleman and just heat homes?
Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

1. Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow yesterday was not just unethical; it was illegal.

You cannot accept tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and simultaneously conduct high-level diplomacy for the federal government.

It says it right in the Constitution.
Kushner’s Moscow mission wasn’t just corrupt. It was unconstitutional.
Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, has been traveling the world to participate in high-stakes foreign policy negotiations on behalf of the president.

Woah. Newsmax’s legal analyst just said Pete Hegseth and everyone involved in the illegal boat strike should be “prosecuted for a war crime.”

They’ve even lost Newsmax on this one.
