It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

The exclusion of trans people from public and academic spaces, removal of protections by human rights institutions, dehumanising language used by state news media, judicial tolerance of trans directed hate crime, withdrawal of medical care: all of this is very familiar to genocide scholars.

I’m the first congressional candidate to be indicted under the second Trump administration.

But if things keep going the way they are, I won’t be the last.

That’s why I need to fight these charges with everything we’ve got. Help us do that here: katforillinois.com/legal

@legaleagle.tv Alright, Trump is now targetting protesters and elected officials/candidates to office with federal charges
I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

This morning we dropped off 5,000+ petition signatures in Springfield, nearly 5x what we needed to get on the ballot.

IL-09 is ready for change, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.

See you on the ballot on March 17.

This move by the Trump administration is an overtly discriminatory civil rights violation. Trans people have the same legal rights as other Americans — end of story. There are lots of good reasons to keep certain people from owning guns. Being trans isn't one of them. https://cnn.it/4niJnxG

Let's replace "transgender rights" with something else. My favourite is slavery. Because people used to blame abolitionists for beeing to "confrontational" too.
The fundamental problem with Sarah McBride's logic in the New York Times today is that the fight over transgender rights is not one where "if only we were a little less confrontational" is the driving factor.

Look at Republicans and how they treat people that even acknowledge a transgender woman.

I have been following Kat Abu for some time and honestly I am somwhat impressed what she is doing. I do believe if she succeeds she can do quite a bit of work. Also shotout to her campaign being impressively accessible for new volunteers (it is fairly suprising how easy it is to get involved).
