There’s no paywall on this tragic personal story by Kennedy’s stoic cousin Tatiana Schlossberg.

But also, as I was searching in vain for a “gift” link I remembered that everyone with a @hclib.bsky.social card can read the entire New Yorker for free with the Libby app. 🌠

media coverage of this is already as pathetic as you might expect, usually failing to mention:

the FCC has no authority over the UK's BBC

the scandal was created by right wing media

the year-old BBC edits fall outside limits of UK defamation law

PBC, NPR never aired the documentary
Trump's censor in chief at the FCC, Brendan Carr, just sent a letter to the heads of BBC, NPR and PBS informing them he's launching a "news distortion" probe into the BBC's editing of a documentary on Trump's Jan. 6 activities.

Here it is:

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

➡️ Tomorrow's vote on the discharge petition is simply another move to pressure the DOJ to do what they are already obligated to do

No matter your party, your wealth, or your title, anyone who is responsible for abusing girls will be brought to justice. (2/2)

Here's your reminder that:

➡️ Trump's DOJ is *already* compelled to release the full, unredacted Epstein files after my motion to subpoena passed in July
➡️ They are out of compliance for slow-walking the legally binding subpoena (1/2)

NEW: California now has nearly 17,000 megawatts of battery storage – reaching one-third of the way to our 2045 goal.

We're deploying more battery storage than any state in America, building a stronger grid, cutting pollution, and securing a safer future for our nation.
