Raccoons are super adorable! And are perhaps domesticating themselves! And are common vectors for rabies! 🙃🦝

I'm catching up on the second season of Matlock. I love this show but still assert that the overarching plot is the least interesting part. I would like more case-of-the-day and whippy interactions and less crying and emotional one-on-ones.

This evening I watched a Waymo drive two of its wheels through a pothole (trench) that was as deep and wide as the Grand Canyon.

A friend recently told me that they didn’t think ICE would deploy tear gas in well to do neighborhoods with a high density of white people. I understood their thinking, but disagreed. Today, they gassed Lakeview. Nothing is off limits to these people.

I was listening to the True Grit episode of Blank Check with Griffin and David and they opined about the joy of the days when media consumption was random: you had to watch what was on, no matter how much you had missed.

I hate that it's difficult to find art prints of works by black folk artists. For example, the Faith Ringgold exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta was fantastic, but all of the prints and postcards were of her quilts. Her quilts are AMAZING - don't get me wrong - but as prints, not very impactful.

I have very little down time. When I'm at work, I have a million ideas for crafts and for my writing. When I do have downtime, I can't think of any of those things. Or I don't have the spoons.
