Day Out: "family-friendly activities and programming"
Night Out: "for longtime fans who grew up with Pokémon"

Today in Japan (2/5) is the grand opening of Pokepark Kanto in Inagi City, West Tokyo (located inside the existing Yomiuriland). It's also, not coincidentally, Pikachu Day, as 25 is Pikachu's Pokedex number.

After 19 years, the creator of Anki is stepping down from leadership of the project (but will still be around). Sad times, but nothing lasts forever. It'll be taken over by a company called "AnkiHub" which may be more familiar to the medical Anki community than the language learning one
