I think people need to get used to the idea that it's perfectly fine that some media was made in the way it was supposed to be and not needing to adapt literally everything that is popular to live action. It rarely even approaches the original in quality

The Olivia Nuzzi story and the Bari Weiss at CBS story are the same story, which is that the upper echelons of legacy media are absolutely rife with people who worship power and don't feel burdened by any sense of responsibility to their profession or the public.

Just a random and totally not self-serving reminder that middle grade and young adult books are often fun reads, and quick reads, and not forbidden to you just because you grew up! If a book where the protagonist is a kid sounds like fun, give it a look! Ain't no shame in it!
