While I didn't manage to hear Quito last night, I did manage to hear some song I hadn't heard before. Overall a really good show from @themountaingoats.bsky.social ! Can't wait for the next one.

Day 3 asking @themountaingoats.bsky.social to play Quito at the August show in Baltimore. The real problem with this is I won't be sad if they don't because whatever they play I'll love, which is really bad motivation to play a specific song. Particularly if it's one you haven't practiced in years.

this story is just a great illustration of NIMBY nihilism. at core, these people have no vision for anything. they simply oppose change for the sake of opposition. (i also think there is an element of death denial here — if i can prevent all physical changes i can deny the reality of my mortality)

We're having a busy few weeks at Greenbridge. The 25-27th of April is the Countryside Artisan Tour! It runs basically from our studio all the way to Sugarloaf mountain. It's a great time to visit our studio and all the studios on the tour, from alpaca farms, to fiber arts, to other ceramic artists.
