Soon, we'll oversee a budget of more than $100 billion — and every dollar will reflect our commitment to working New Yorkers and delivering universal childcare. Good thing some little New Yorkers gave me a counting lesson today!

New Epstein emails "seem to show Trump understood who Epstein was, how he and Maxwell were acting, and the kinds of crimes they were committing. He was adjacent to, if not involved in, those crimes."

On the pod Nicole Hemmer is brilliant on bigger Epstein-MAGA story:

a lot of self-delusion about the capitulation not being so bad. Even with the corrupt self-dealing? and getting nothing? seeking to spare "moderates" the well-earned wrath is not a good idea. (Many "moderates" opposed it. It's not ideology.) Say when something is awful, then go on to the next issue

Let's face it, no-one has ever worked so hard, pulled so many strings, called in so many favours, tried so many wheezes, just to keep the information that proves he's innocent secret.

Former NYT reporter Landon Thomas, Jr.: Its getting scary. The stories you could tell...

Epstein: Wow

Thomas: Actually I don't think he/voters would care. Being effectively shameless is a pretty powerful weapon for a presidential candidate.

Trump also claims he fell out with Epstein because Epstein was being a "creep" around young girls at Mar-a-Lago. That is another lie. Being a creep around young girls was why Trump was friends with Epstein in the first place. They fell out over a bidding war on Florida real estate.

Enten: "Trump is 39 below water on the Epstein case. 39 points in the negative! My goodness gracious. What Trump has been selling on the Epstein files, the Epstein case, the American people have not been buying at all ... less than half of Republicans are buying it. This is his worst issue by far"

So just to be clear, major media, the “newspaper of record,” the DOJ, and administrations from both parties kept all of this from us. For years.

Let these people walk among us scot-free. Let Americans VOTE THESE PEOPLE INTO OFFICE.

And said nothing.

Burn it all to the ground.

Reminder that Starbucks’ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?
As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

In an essay published by The Atlantic this week, he wrote, “The White House’s assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable.”
