Good; don’t
It’s sad that it’s come to this but democracy must be defended
Colorado's DOC says it won't pursue the transfer of Tina Peters, the Trump-supporting county clerked convicted for breaching voter equipment, as the federal government requested recently. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

National Guard aren’t ICE or Border Patrol. They didn’t sign up looking to harass and repress people. They’re volunteers, part time, in case of emergency. They didn’t ask for this.

West Virginia National Guard shouldn’t have been deployed in Washington DC.

Imagine what kind of evil, apocalyptic nonsense these ICE agents have to tell themselves again and again so they can believe they’re the good guys in all this
ICE is arresting husbands & wives at their final green card interviews

They’re going to the immigration meeting to complete the final step in the legal process and leaving in handcuffs

One man had to take his crying infant from his wife’s arms as ICE forcibly detained her

This is cruel entrapment

for @gqmagazine.bsky.social, i spoke with Wagner Moura about his incredible performance in the equally incredible The Secret Agent

‘Narcos’ star Wagner Moura talks about his role in director Kleber Mendonça Filho's '70s-set Brazilian drama and how life under the Bolsonaro regime shaped their collaboration.

Maybe folks have forgotten, but we have already had a former addict in the cabinet. He did great! (His drug of choice happens to have been the most deadly: alcohol.)

I am a little tired of being yelled at for this but apparently not tired about: heroin addiction is not RFK’s problem. He’s a sociopath. Most addicts aren’t. Honestly, walk into an NA meeting, grab the first person with a few years to be head of HHS and they’d probably do a better job than Bobby.
This is what happens when you put a privileged, 14 year heroin addict in charge of health. Duh

Damning stuff but I’m still optimistic that Mamdani will be able to get a lot done with and through Menin, and that there may be some agenda-passing advantages to her being Speaker, with her considerable politicking skills and municipal govt experience
Menin got over $100K spent on her by Uber, $1,600 donation from Tony Argento, $1,000 from Randy Mastro, no response to questions about it:

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
