Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind?

It's not because of immigrants, trans people, DEI, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.

It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains.

They used the Charlie Kirk assassination to revoke visas and get people fired from their jobs.

Now they’re saying they will be “denaturalizing migrants who undermine domestic tranquility”

So basically anyone they want.

They’re using the tragic National Guard shooting to further white supremacy
With ALT. This is legitimately terrifying. This is a MASSIVE escalation of violent anti-immigrant rhetoric and policies.

It’s almost as if they knew unleashing the military into American cities would lead to violence and they were already planning to use that violence to justify this.

The river carves the land. Collects its gossip, hears all its spirited stories. Blends them into its own song. Witches listen to this fluid singing of place, gathers omens as they float by. She runs with the river and absorbs its wisdom. – #EmilyCBanting, 1982 #WitchSky

Think you’ve seen a Chinese dragon gliding through a lake? Look again.
It might be a Chinese Jiao (蛟), another misunderstood creature often mistaken for its nobler cousin. Unlike dragons, Jiao bring floods and chaos, not blessings. They lack regal horns, but bear a fleshy mark 1/2

I loathe the way empiricism conditions everyone to default to confirmation bias as a interpersonal compliance. Only being allowed to affirm "proof" when said proof is manufactured by a piece of the problem.

I’ve heard many stories of how ICE is not following the law or honoring due process.

I'm at the Tacoma ICE facility to come see for myself and hold ICE accountable. From my visit, it was abundantly clear that ICE is lying.

Not sure if it's journalistic best practice to frame "proof of involvement in a decades-long ring of powerful child rapists" as "the greatest challenge to his legacy."

Unless you're trying to actively help him overcome it, I think it should rightly be framed as the final word on his legacy.

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.
