I just think that the time to announce a policy to take money off of people and some employers to lock away is when you’ve created an economy where people are making more money and where the economy is more productive. Doing the actual opposite is just making shit harder.

Low-key this is why I think Britain is so transphobic. British cis women include the single largest clocky population on earth.
Honestly I walk around with my problematic clocking goggles on and there‘s a significant amount of the time that I can’t tell if a woman is trans or British but nobody is bemoaning the tragedy of becoming an Albion woman.

I feel disproportionately annoyed that Destiny Church is planning to disrupt the Santa Parade.

Fantastic that this is the study that we’re looking to base our regulations off of. We couldn’t possibly follow Britain on Palestine – but on this apparently is all g.
The puberty blocker trial is about to start according to the BBC, led by Dr Emily Simonoff. The same Dr who spoke at a symposium organised by Segm, a group designated an anti trans hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Centre /1

If the Catholic Church started doing raves as their main thing I might convert. I’ve kind of wanted to go to one of those 6am raves but it’s a little early for me, but like 9am and/or like late afternoon to early evening on a Sunday with some fun sexy The Borgias (2011) aesthetics feels like a vibe.

The anti-trans lobby in AoNZ is not a tiger or a bear, it is a wasp. We will always win, even if we do get stung.

So many celebrity men have been roided up far beyond what is healthy for a body and barely anyone ever said anything.
ariana grande and cynthia erivo have developed eating disorders there I said it so we can all stop thinking about it

Growing up making coffee for people who do things like semi-professional leg breaking really gives you an odd perspective on life when you grow up to like, not be a criminal or even really associate with criminals.

I really wish the left wing parties talking about "free GP appointments" would at least get in touch with the College of Primary Health Care Nurses, because they're really missing a huge part of the problem by only centring GPs in their discussions, policies, and rhetoric.

The diversity of experiences and identities expressed by the diversity of trans bodies is to me one of the most beautiful things in the world.

Trans is Beautiful. Trans trauma is not beautiful and must be resisted by any means necessary.

We have to as trans people be careful to not take the messages that we have internalised about our own bodies from stigma and dysphoria and throw them out at other trans people especially as an argument for allowing access to puberty blockers.

Yes, go to war with the Treasury
Just spotted this bill currently in the biscuit tin, from Hon Peeni Henare. Lots of people have been calling for the establishment of a Parliamentary Budget Office, so I'm pleased to see Labour putting this up. Be cool to see it as an election policy too. #NZPOL

Bitter that the greenies talked my nana into cutting down the loquat tree when the loquat tree was essential to nourishing the birds during drought in a changed environment where their native food sources are deplete, where their numbers are depleted and where drought has become more common.
There is something in people who want to force the forest back into an ideal state, which it never truly existed in and which it can absolutely never be now and people who want the same for my body…

Green Party TERFs are funny because they’re all old enough to see my last name and ask me if I’m related to my grandfather and then they don’t really know how to math me being a transsexual with that.

Also, it is worth noting that the ban on prescribing GnRHas is not a ban on all methods for blocking puberty – just the safest, most evidenced and best ones. Which is to say, if you have a young person in your life in need of blockers please contact your local transsexual self taught HRT expert.

I look back and I know that puberty blockers would have changed my life for the better in so many ways, but as a message of hope – mental health care, support from grown ups, not being having transphobia in my home, knowing that trans people can be happy and beautiful and having hope would have too.

When I was a teenager I didn’t have access to puberty blockers so what I did instead was drink straight spirits while my friends drunk RTDs and beer.

So anyway, back up plan. Do about 10,000 general electorate green voters want to move into our spare room. Bonus, I imagine we’re double grammar zoned or whatever
If TOP were not campaigning on unelectable idiot tax policy and were running an electorate candidate in Epsom I would canvas for them purely out of spite.
