The Hoatzin is a prehistoric-looking bird found in South America. DNA analysis suggests its lineage dates back 64 million years and it is the oldest bird lineage that leads to a single living species. 🪶

It's easy to criticize people who use gas prices as their primary economic barometer. But it shouldn't surprise us given that gas prices are so much more visible than other indicators (giant numbers in neon lights!), and given that more than 75% of US workers commute by car.
