For me: Don't scroll social media & don't put that youtube video or podcast on in the background. It can be hard & I'm bad about it sometimes too, but those constant tiny dopamine hits make it so hard for me to be creative. Become comfortable with stillness, its part of the process

"stay alive out of spite" ok but how. I understand and empathize with the sentiment but how. that's a goal, it's not an actionable means to achieving that goal. you can't feed and shelter yourself with spite. you can't protect yourself from violence with spite.
