BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺

Any one of these massive AAA videogame companies could file suit against the 6-piece Chicken McNobody ringleaders harassing their employees, and that they don't is a choice. I said before of goobergate that the industry enjoys having a bunch of unpaid Pinkertons around too much to ever give it up.

4 yrs ago today, a family member managed a truly spectacular own goal, splintered his domestic bliss, & in the process, united the world for a day.

On popular request, I shall now recreate the livetweet thread from that day

If he says it's his most ambitious work to date, you KNOW it's going to be amazing.

Cool free stuff alert: They're giving away the base version of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 this weekend.

Really good co-op first-person brawler about the world's most dysfunctional friend group fighting through the ratpocalypse.

There's some decent DLC but they've added a LOT for free over the years.

Kingdoms of the Dump is one of the year's most charming RPGs, an Earthbound-inspired game set in a world made of trash, where you fight in landfills and heal with moldy sandwiches. Which is fitting — it was made by two janitors.

Now whenever a big new game comes out, besides just having to wait for a sale & for the patches to fix the bugs, you also have to wait for them to patch out the genAI that they "accidentally" put into the game.

Jaquays was so influent to tabletop RPGs that "Jaquaysing" became a verb for designing complex, non-linear dungeons.

@nickoten.bsky.social wrote a great article on her:

I merged in all the incomplete entries, which I'm working on chipping away at and filling in the details of, which has bulked the list up to 324 items. But some of them are for entire series' or platforms, so probably ~400 games here.

Will nasal vaccines consign injections to history?
