Trump said on "Truth Social" the other day that his "real" approval rating is 64%. He is a liar. It is 40% (56% disapprove).

It is important to call out authoritarians when they try to manufacture consent for their unpopular agendas. Remind people how unpopular he is.

So my wife did the only rational thing left. Today, she canceled our policy. As of January 1, we’re uninsured.

This isn’t a reckless decision. It’s a calculated one.

Last night I set up my telescope so we could all watch the planets while waiting for the new year to arrive.

After the fireworks had subsided, I attached my camera and captured my first astrophoto of the year featuring Jupiter and its moon Europa. #astrophotography

Happy New Year everyone!

Something we can never forget. He inspired attacks on police officers, attacks on the Capitol. Then he pardoned the violent criminals.

Everyone who voted for him in ‘24 voted for more violence by excusing this.

On Jack Smith deposition, now released:

100% obvious why GOP refused to allow this as open testimony, aired live. It's damning.

Testimony from John Dean or Alex ("wiretaps") Butterfield in Watergate days would have 1/10th the impact if just in print.

What Smith says is far more incriminating.

The KKK staged a big rally in 1924 in South Bend. The Klansmen were confronted by a group of about 500 Notre Dame students who chased them through the streets, jumped them, beat them up in alleys, ripped their KKK robes and masks off and used them as battle trophies.

This is NGC 2264, also called the "Christmas Tree Cluster." It's a cluster of young stars about 2,500 light years away.

They were 'born' during the Pliocene Epoch (2-5 MYA), about the same time as early hominids like Ardipithecus or Homo habilis, so they're barely older than humanity.
