Barnes & Nobles has a bad habit of canceling my preorders when I guess the books aren’t in when they’re supposed to be (they’re not delayed but out of stock?). It’s only happened a couple times and does seem to be a smaller publishers, but sucks to lose the preorder sale discount.

I’ve typically avoided a lot of media chock full of sex and violence until the last few years. I’m still too squeamish to really like it, but it feels subversive (especially the sex half these days) and I dig that aspect of it.
